∎Product Description

• PU-40 is a one component moisture-curing High modulus Class A polyurethane sealant .It is a one-part, high modulus polyurethane product formulated by Gorcci International. It reacts with moisture in the air to form a soft rubber with excellent elastic and adhesion strength.This is a multifunction gun grade polyurethane based construction sealant, it is of high modulus and cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a soft rubber like material with moderate elasticity and high adhesion strength.
• PU-40 is suitable for the elastic joint that will be subjected to dynamis stresses within the following related insutrials : Building and Construction, floors modlings, light weight fabricator, pipe-work and fittings, refrigeriation, air-conditioning, thermal and acoustic insulation technology , general fabrication and assembly. Suitable substrate materials are timer. metal, particularly aluminium,sheet steel.

∎Typical Applications

• Suitable for areas where low movement, high resistance to penetration and pressure are required.
  For water proofing of air face on bridges, tunnels and drainage pipe. For precast panel, concrete internal wall and stone bonding and sealing.
• Ideally suited for industrial flooring, metal industry container building. Can be overpainted. A compatibility test between the sealant and the paint is recommended.
• For Example:
• bonding of floors ( plywood, wood, and metal) to sub-floor or metallic frame）
• bonding of all exterior or interior panels , walls, sheets to corners or tubular frames
• bonding of FRP roofs ( vans, cabins), bonding of sandwich panels and walls
• sealing, especially for large dimension joints

∎Directions for Use

Tool: Manual or pneumatic plunger caulking gun

• Cleaning: Clean and dry all surfaces by removing foreign matter and contaminants such as oil dust, grease, frost, water, dirt, old sealants and any protective coating.
• For cartridge

1.Cut nozzle to give the required angle and bead size

2.Pierce the membrane at the top of the cartridge and screw on the nozzle

3.Place the cartridge in an applicator gun and squeeze the trigger with equal strength

• For sausage

1.Clip the end of the sausage and place in barrel gun

2.Screw end cap and nozzle on to barrel gun

3.Using the trigger extrude the sealant with equal strength

∎Attention of operation

● Don’t mix alcohol into the product, it will cause the product invalid. The tools with the alcohol can’t be used before cleaning well.

● Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If contact with your skin, scrub first with soap water or alcohol, then rinse with water. If contact with your

eyes, rinse with plenty of water, and seek medical treatment immediately.

● It is forbidden to build on the surface of the wet substrate.

●Transportation: Avoid damp, high temperature,isolation and rain, far away from heat, handle with care and prohibit extrusion collision.

● Tools Cleaning : It can be soaked in toluene or xylene. It is strictly forbidden to immerse in alcohol and other alcohol solvents.If it is not used

for a long time, it should be cleaned immediately with alcohol or other organic solvents. The cured glue can only be scraped or torn off.

∎Transport &Storage

● Transport: Keep the sealed product away from moisture, the sun, high temperature and avoid collisions.

● Storage: Keep the sealed product into cool, dry place.

● Storage temperature: 5~25℃. Humidity: ≤50%RH.

●Cartridge and Sausage :9 month. Pail/Drum:6 month.

Notice:If the temperature is higher than 40 ℃ or the humidity is more than 80%RH, the shelf life may be shorter.
